In every economy, some people are more vulnerable than others to financial instability.
- 23% of households in FW metro area are female-headed, yet they represent 41% of households in poverty.
- 42% of Tarrant County residents do not have enough savings to get by for three months during a sudden job loss or medical emergency.
- Long periods of unemployment are correlated with declining reemployment income, poor family health, and lower academic achievement for children.
People cannot move out of crisis, leave a domestic violence situation, or build a better future for themselves and their children if they don’t have money. The Employment Solutions Program addresses financial stability and inter-generational poverty for low-income, unemployed, or underemployed individuals across Tarrant County.
Services Include:
Career Coaching
Through Jobs NOW! workshops, specialty seminars, and individual coaching, we help people secure better jobs, earn a sustainable wage, and lead a more secure life. From identifying opportunities to connecting participants with targeted skills training, these coaches are focused on the career advancement of those we serve.
Financial Coaching
Our financial coaches help individuals set family financial goals, develop feasible household budgets, reduce debt, and build emergency savings funds. Their focus is the short and long-term financial health of every person we empower through this program.
Resource Coaching
Resource coaches help participants navigate through local community resources to meet basic needs like affordable housing, rent/utility assistance, access to counseling, and other challenges that prevent people from achieving success.
